ROME If You Want To

Rome is one of my favorite places to travel in the world. When I get the chance, I want to go back to visit, and maybe even travel through all of Italy. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, and the sites are absolutely breathtaking!

Here are a few things you should do if you ever make it to Rome:

• See the Colosseum twice – during the day and at night
• Tour the Roman Forum and visit the temple of Julius Caesar
• Take a walk up (and down) the Spanish steps
• Throw a coin in the Trevi Fountain (Lizzie McGuire style)
• Admire the Pantheon dome
• Eat everything Italian
• Take a thirty-minute drive to the beach and swim in the Mediterranean Sea
• Go wine tasting and sample all of the delicious Italian-made wines
• Eat on the patio of a restaurant (I recommend Casetta di’Trastevere)
• Visit a country within a country in Vatican City
• Marvel at the gorgeousness of the Sistine Chapel (don’t forget to cover up!)
• See an opera
• Have a picnic at Villa Doria Pamphilj
• Eat gelato every day, three times a day
• Walk the streets and purchase some unique and one-of-a kind art
• Strike up a conversation with a stranger
• Eat all the dessert (Can you say ‘cannolis?’)
• See the Pope in St. Peter’s Square
• Take a tour of city on a vespa! BEEP BEEP.
• Enjoy the night life at Campo de Fiori
• See a classic movie at Casa Del Cinema
• Grab a coffee at a bar and drink like a local
• See a street performance in Trastevere

There’s so much to see and do in Rome. The people are so nice, and it’s super easy to make new friends. After all…
